Retirement Community

The Independent Retirement Units are specifically designed for easy living. Each unit is beautifully appointed and extremely generous in size. All units are on single level, avoiding the use of steps and all have car accommodation.

Resident living at the village feel extremely fortunate that they have found such a perfect place to retire. Our residents enjoy their independence and the freedom to do what they enjoy the most 'being retired' without the worry of looking after a large home and garden. The village offers a variety of home styles with a choice of either one, two or three bedroom units. Privacy and independence have been major criteria in the design of the houses with generous living area's, outside patio, lockup garages or fully lined carport. The brand new retirement units compliment the already beautifully established independent living units nestled amidst landscaped gardens and a backdrop of natural bush land.

Stage one of the multi stage development within the existing retirement community is complete with brand new architecturally designed 2 & 3 bedroom independent living units available with spacious living area, modern kitchen, ensuite and separate bathroom, laundry and built in garage.

The introduction of 3 bedroom units into the master plan for the new developments was decided after market research acknowledged the need for retirees to have extra room to be able to maintain their interests such as computers, sewing or just more room for family & friends to visit. The new units offer affordable and convenient living for retirees with on site facilities including a Chapel with daily Mass, newly appointed community centre, hairdressing salon, visiting doctors, podiatrist, remedial masseuse, weekly shopping trip, outings, overnight security and more..

Residents living at St Paul de Chartres feel very fortunate that they have found a place of peace and beauty, without the worry of maintaining a large home and garden. A 24 hour emergency call system installed in each unit and the on-site aged care facility add to residents’ peace of mind knowing assistance is not far away.

Director Sr. Teresa Lau said “The Sisters are pleased to be able to offer additional 2 and 3 bedroom units to residents in the community looking for a special place to be able to maintain their independence whilst feeling safe and secure”.
