Please find attached the latest communications to residents, families and friends.

The Sisters and management request from all non-essential visitation to the facility and the retirement village be postponed until such time as it does not pose a risk to our residents. All staff and visitors to the Residential Aged Care facility are being asked to sign a declaration stating:-

  • In the past 48 hours they have not experienced
    • a fever;
    • a cough;
    • sore throat;
    • shortness of breath; or
    • generally feeling unwell.
  • To the best of their knowledge they have not been in contact with anyone who has been tested for the COVID-19 virus or placed into self-isolation during the preceding 14 days
  • Neither I nor any member of my household have returned to Australia from overseas in the past 14 days

They are also required to submit to a temperature check. Visitor attending the facility are also requested to follow Department of Health guidelines of short visits – with our request being no more than 10 minutes per visit and only one visit per day per individual.

Whilst restrictions are not in place for Retirement Unit we strongly recommend following a similar regime and if you answer yes to any of the questions above please stay away.
